The Asteroids Galaxy Tour will perform at this year's SPOT Festival.
The Asteroids Galaxy Tour are among the acts performing at this year's SPOT Festival. Their début album ”Fruit” will be out in the months to come. A few British and American music critics have already reviewed the album with a positive outcome.

The band, whose live début was supporting Amy Winehouse back in 2007, are currently working on concurring the world.
When Apple boss Steve Jobs had to find a song for his iPod Touch commercial last year, he chose The Asteroids Galaxy Tour's ”Around the Bend”, catapulting the song into instant recognition. Having a song featured in an iPod commercial is a big deal, no matter how well-known your band is, and it is probably safe to say that the exposure which The Asteroids Galaxy Tour's music have gotten from being featured in said commercial could not have been achieved otherwise.

In addition to the iPod commercial, the band have also been featured in the popular and influential American TV show ”Gossip Girl”, with the song ”Hero” and have, among other American tour dates, played at SXSW.

The Asteroids Galaxy Tour's début album, ”Fruit”, will be out on their own label Small Giants later this year – though some British and American reviewers have already had the chance to listen to the album and all have been very positive in their verdict of the album.
