Last week, 11 electronica acts were announced for this years SPOT festival - the festival is now proud to confirm more acts to the slate.

Approximately 80% of the acts for the festival in Aarhus, May 21.-23., are ready be unveiled and it is a mix between newcomers and more established acts – this year with more focus on electronica and the heaviest of the rock genre.

-The 15^th edition of the SPOT Festival is continuing the development that previous years have outlined: a festival that emphasises music for a broader audience as well as looking at what is relevant at the moment – all the while with the utmost focus on quality, says festival manager Gunnar Madsen.

SPOT 2009 will have music for everybody – Nordic acts, club music, rock, singer-songwriter, pop, electronica etc., to name just a few.

The final acts will be announced in the month to come.

In addition, the program for the separate opening night event, Thursday 21^st of May, is expected to be announce shortly.
