The Broken Beats revolve around songwriter Kim Munk. For several years they have toured intensively, not least in Germany. In Denmark they broke through in 2006 with the smash hit "Essentials". The band's "imperfect" music is founded on Munk's catchy pop rock compositions, which are subjected to imaginative orchestrations which at times also include instruments like woodwinds and strings.
